Become a Mentor
Mentoring and relationship building are key elements to the success of Joey’s Foundation. We are very proud of our mentors and their ability to help participants learn new skills, all while connecting with one another in the great outdoors of Wyoming.
The relationships developed and the skills introduced by our mentors help share with our youth knowledge about the outdoors, ways to protect and preserve it, new skills they can use for a lifetime, healthy living strategies and a new unique positive activity.
Many of our mentors have joined Joey’s in the hopes that they can make a difference in just one student’s life. They soon realize that it’s the students who are making a difference in theirs. It’s a wonderful thing to see.
We have several opportunities for you to become a mentor. Please know that talents in all areas are needed. It is not necessary to be an expert fisherman to become a part of our Foundation! We do ask mentors to bring their enthusiasm, passion and energy.
